Chamber Music Festival

Welcome to the Kon-Tiki Chamber Music Festival 2022

This year’s festival is a celebration of an anniversary: Ten years at Bygdøy – and this time on new and exciting premises. We are heading “home” – to the Kon-Tiki Museum.

We hope this will be a source of enthusiasm, joy and excitement for you all, our highly appreciated audience! We are still very pleased with Aftenposten’s ranking of the Kon-Tiki Chamber Music Festival as the most prominent and exciting of all the ‘classical’ music festivals in the Oslo region, the last time we could play for you in June 2019.

The Kon-Tiki Museum is intimate and exclusive – and the number of seats is limited to 60 for every of the three concerts this year.

And like in all the previous years, a group of excellent musicians in the arena of classic music will join Julie and me. The two of us are by now a few years older, of course, and extra keen on meeting you, our dear audience again, after this far too long Covid break.

On the Kon-Tiki fleet, and in a literal sense, we muster a full Norwegian crew; cellist Sandra Lied Haga and violist Ida Bryhn, engaged and ready for the Kon-Tiki Chamber Music Festival 2022!

The concerts will take place on June 1st, 2nd and 3rd at 7 pm. Doors open at 6.15 pm. There will be a complimentary drink and refreshments served during the intermission.

The final program will be available at our website early in May.

Tickets are available at
We look forward to seeing and enchanting you in June!

On behalf of Sandra, Ida and Julie
