Welcome to this summer’s great musical experience!

The programme and artists for the 2026 Chamber Music Festival have been announced. The festival takes place in the beautiful surroundings of the Norwegian Maritime Museum, where music and history come together to create a unique experience.

In addition to world-class concerts, the festival will also present a special children’s concert. More information will be announced soon.

We warmly invite both new and returning audiences to a festival filled with chamber music, community, and a truly special atmosphere.

Welcome to our children’s and family concert!

Join us for a magical musical experience for the whole family! This year’s concert features beloved stories and music, including excerpts from The Carnival of the Animals, Peter and the Wolf, and The Story of Ferdinand – and perhaps a few surprises along the way.

On stage you will meet pianist Julie Coucheron and violinist David Coucheron, who invite children into the world of music through play, storytelling, and live performance.

The concert takes place on Saturday, June 13 at 1:00 PM at the Norwegian Maritime Museum at Bygdøy. There will be space to listen, move, and experience the music up close.

Kon-Tiki Chamber Music Festival 2025 offered memorable musical encounters, a unique closeness between audience and performers, and those special moments that can only happen when chamber music is experienced up close. From intense ensemble performances to lyrical and intimate passages, the festival created space for both reflection and excitement.
